Riverside was inspired by a magical encounter I had with a Great Blue Heron at my local park. I was sitting on the bank when a heron flew in and landed right beside me! After eyeing me up for good while the heron proceeded to go fishing anyways. It was so majestic and ancient, I felt compelled to make a print of a heron, so here it is.

I created 'Riverside' by hand-carving my design into a block of linoleum. I then rolled ink onto the lino by hand, and used a manual etching press to hand-crank the lino & paper through to make the print.

Printed one at a time on recycled paper with eco-friendly oil based inks. Hand inking techniques create unique prints, each one an original. Photos are representative of the print you will receive.
