I created this design after visiting Tucson, AZ and falling in love with cacti. Desert Night is inspired by the beauty of the desert and the tenacity of its inhabitants. Featuring a saguaro cactus, a small scorpion, and a crescent moon.

I created Desert Night by hand-carving my image into a block of linoleum. I then rolled ink onto the lino by hand, careful not to over ink and fill in the details! I used a manual etching press to hand-crank the lino & paper through to make the print.

Printed one at a time on recycled paper with eco-friendly oil based inks. Hand inking techniques create unique prints, each one an original. Photos are representative of the print you will receive.
