Fire Within is inspired by the creativity of the imagination. An eye with a fire inside burns brightly to illuminate the world, simultaneously destroying what it burns. Flowery petals radiate outwards just like the imagination, reaching, dreaming....

I created Fire Within by carving away the negative space of a block of linoleum to shape my image. I then rolled ink onto the lino by hand and used a manual etching press to hand-crank the lino & paper through to make the print.

Printed one at a time on recycled paper with eco-friendly oil based inks. Hand inking techniques create unique prints, each one an original. Photos are representative of the print you will receive.
