To make, 'Good Omen', I started with a hand drawn sketch on a piece of printmaking linoleum. Then I used my carving tools to cut each detail into the lino by hand. I carved meditatively, in the moment, slowly letting the artwork come to life, one cut at a time. After I finished carving the block, I rolled oil-based ink onto the raised surface (above my cut marks), and printed the block onto fine art paper. I did a color blended roll using dark blue and dark purple.

I made three different color versions for this linocut edition (only the purple/blue color blended roll version is listed here). There is a total of 28 prints, counting all the color versions. This edition is limited and will never be reprinted.

Hand inking techniques create unique prints, each one an original work of art. Colors vary during the printmaking process, photos are representative of the print you will receive.

Printed by hand on fine art recycled paper, with linseed oil relief ink.
