Inspired by the Columbia River Gorge. I grew up in The Dalles and have so many memories driving home along the river, as the sun sets.

I made 'And theRiver Flows Home' by cutting each detail into a block of cherry plywood. Slowly the artwork came to life, one cut at a time. After I finished carving the block, I rolled linseed oil ink onto the raised surface (above my cut marks), and printed the block onto fine art recycled paper.

Hand inking techniques create unique prints, each one an original work of art. Colors vary during the printmaking process, photos are representative of the print you will receive.
