Moonshroom is inspired by all the little mushrooms I see while I'm out hiking. The spiraled pattern at the bottom reflects the many cycles of the moon and earth's constant rotations.

I created Moonshroom by hand-carving my design into a block of linoleum. I then rolled ink onto the lino by hand, and used a manual etching press to hand-crank the lino & paper through to make the print. After printing the first layer of color, I carved more away off my lino block and printed the next layer. By the end of the process my lino block was destroyed and I can never reprint this design.

Printed one at a time on recycled paper with eco-friendly oil based inks. Hand inking techniques create unique prints, each one an original. Photos are representative of the print you will receive.
